WARRANTY

No warranty claims will be considered if customer’s account is outside our trading terms.

 

SHOCK ABSORBERS

The supplier will warrant all shock absorbers against defects in materials or faulty workmanship provided the shock absorbers have been correctly installed as recommended by the supplier with the correct spring listing. The following warranty periods apply from date of fitment, which ever occurs first.

  • Nitro – G series: 2 years/unlimited kms
  • Nitro Max – NM series: 2 years/unlimited kms
  • Predator – PR series: 2 years/unlimited kms

 

COIL SPRINGS

All coil springs are warranted for a period of 2 years from faulty manufacture, breakage and sagging (being loss of unladen height of more than 10 mm).

 

LEAF SPRINGS

Leaf springs listed in this catalogue are warranted for a period of 12 months against faulty manufacture, breakage and sagging (being the loss of unladen camber by more than 12 mm).

 

SHACKLES AND PIN KITS

Spring shackles, pins and U-Bolts are covered by a 12 month warranty against defects in materials or faulty workmanship provided the products have been correctly installed. RAW 4×4 recommend that U-Bolts are retightened after initial 500 km’s and are then checked at regular intervals.

 

POLYURETHANE BUSHES

All polyurethane suspension bushes are warranted to the original purchaser for a period of 2 years from date of purchase against defects in materials or faulty workmanship provided the bushes have been correctly installed.
RAW 4×4 recommend shackles and pins should be replaced when there is any evidence of severe rust or wear to optimise the life expectancy of the bushes.

 

TORSION BARS

All torsion bars are warranted to the original purchaser for a period of 12 months.

 

GENERAL

The above-mentioned warranties do not cover defects due to accident, misuse, improper installation; this includes neglect and wear and tear. The supplier excludes liability under this warranty for damage or wear of any component due to:

  1. Incorrect installation of components
  2. Products that have been modified or not used for the specified application as stated in the catalogue
  3. Exceeding load specifications of the product
  4. Incorrect information provided by the installer or customer
  5. RAW 4×4 suspension products are designed for “normal” use and are in  no way, covered under warranty should the vehicle be used in any form of extreme sports or competition racing.

It is the responsibility of the owner or driver of the vehicle to immediately notify the installer or place of purchase of the components of a possible warranty claim to prevent further damage to other components or compromise the safety of the vehicle.

Consequential damage costs and injury, however caused, are not covered under warranty; (written or implied).Warranty replacements will be despatched freight paid by the supplier or refunded at the original purchase price at the supplier’s sole discretion.

The supplier’s responsibility does not exceed the original purchase price of the product claimed to be defective. The supplier is not responsible for special, incidental or consequential damages, installation charges, labour charges or any other costs.

 

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS

Please contact the place of purchase or installation if you have a warranty concern.
To ensure your claim is processed as efficiently as possible the following information will be required: – Description of concern – Pictures of components and vehicle concern – Measurements at time of installation and at the time of concern – Date of fitment and kilometres travelled – Proof of purchase – Customer Warranty Registration Form

 

BACK ORDER

The customer will be advised if goods cannot be supplied ex stock at time of order and will be placed on back order and supplied as soon as goods are received by the supplier. Goods will remain on back order for a period of 60 days from placement of original order and will then be deemed to lapse, which may require re-ordering.
